Resolving Problems with Secure Access IDs for admin.triumf.ca
You get "Authorization failed" response to your ID and password:
- Your ID and password are both case-sensitive.
- Ensure that you do not have caps-lock on, and that you use the same capitalization that you used when setting your password.
- Some pages on the web site are restricted by group as well as ID/password; even if your ID and password are correct, if you do not belong to that group, you will get an
"Authorization failed" response when you access one of these pages.
If you have forgotten your password:
- You can reset your password by re-applying on-line.
- If you are a current TRIUMF employee, you can fill in the "Request Form for Current TRIUMF Employees", giving your existing ID as
the "Suggested ID", your password will be changed immediately to whatever you specify in the form.
- If you are not a current TRIUMF employee, or cannot provide the information needed for the Current Employees form, please
eMail us or phone 604-222-7437.
You will receive your reset password by email or phone (you should change your password once you receive it).
If you have forgotten your Secure Access ID:
- You can find out your existing ID by re-applying on-line.
- If you are a current TRIUMF employee, you can fill in the "Request Form for Current TRIUMF Employees", and your existing ID will be
displayed immediately (the "Suggested ID" you fill in the form will be ignored).
- If you are not a current TRIUMF employee, or cannot provide the information needed for the Current Employees form, you can fill in
the "Request Form for Non-TRIUMF-Employees". You will receive your existing ID by email or phone.
If you want to change your Secure Access ID:
- Click Cancel Secure Access ID using your existing ID and password.
- Re-applying on-line.
- If you are a current TRIUMF employee, you can fill in the "Request Form for Current TRIUMF Employees", and your existing ID will be
created immediately.
- If you are not a current TRIUMF employee, or cannot provide the information needed for the Current Employees form, you can fill in
the "Request Form for Non-TRIUMF-Employees". You will receive your ID and initial password by email or phone.
