Competition # 609Electronics Technician - Power SuppliesCentral to the success of TRIUMF are a host of accelerators; a 500MeV high intensity H- cyclotron, room temperature heavy ion linear accelerators, a superconducting heavy ion linac and three small cyclotrons for industrial and medical applications. TRIUMF's High Power System Group is responsible for the design and implementation of DC power converters and other electronic apparatus associated with the TRIUMF accelerators. In support of the Group's activities, we are currently recruiting an Electronics Technician to fill an intermediate level position. In this role you will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair existing equipment, and provide support for the design, implementation, installation and commissioning of new projects. Your interpersonal skills are noteworthy and allow you to work effectively as a team member, and to interact professionally with all staff and external suppliers.
