5 Year Theory Fellow

The successful applicant must have a PhD in theoretical physics, preferably within the past five years, a strong publication record and must demonstrate the potential to carry out an exceptional research program in particle or nuclear theory. In addition, the candidate is expected to participate in activities which connect the Theory Group to the overall TRIUMF research program.

The appointment is initially for three years and is renewable for a total of five years pending satisfactory performance. The "Five-Year Theory Fellow" will be eligible to apply for peer-reviewed funding from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC). Please note the position is open to all qualified applicants, and in the case of equal qualifications, preference may be given to a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident. Review of applications will begin December 15, 2006 and continue until the positions are filled.
