Position Title:Industrial Instrumentation and Process Control Technician | ||

Overview:Triumf has considerable instrumentation testing and reporting requirements to the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission. Additionally, the site has numerous process that requires monitoring/operation and trouble shooting of HVAC equipment. The position would report to Mechanical services. | ||
Duties:Testing and reporting of industrial instrumentationTroubleshooting and operation of DDC HVAC controls | ||
Skills learned during this work experience:Instrumentation testing proceduresNuclear safety work Documentation control DDC programming and process control | ||
Qualifications:Industrial Instrumentation technician diplomaHands on experience an asset. | ||
Shiftwork required:Yes | ||
Period of work:May - Aug 2020 with possible 4-month extension | ||
Salary is commensurate with academic progress and previous relevant work experience, and
ranges from $ 2080 to $ 2800 per month plus 4% vacation pay. TRIUMF pays round-trip airfare (this does not apply to Vancouver/Victoria students); for Vancouver Island students, TRIUMF will pay ferry costs.
